Ok, I finally found a working Internet connection! Check out the awesome Sony Rolly photos from Sony's booth at CES!

The Limited Edition BLACK and the Prototype PINK were on display, in addition to the Classic White.

It's Official - Rolly Coming to U.S. - In White, BLACK, and ... Possibly... Pink???

Sony has officially announced the Rolly is coming to the U.S.! The announcement was made to great fanfare (a.k.a. the press and I) at Sony's press conference at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. I have a whole video of the press conference, as well as the Rolly display at Sony's booth, but my Internet connection isn't great right now, so sorry for the delay in getting this post up. 250,000 people all trying to connect at once is, well, a challenge :)

A few notes about the "new" Rolly:

It will be released in Spring 2008.
It will come with 2 gigabytes of flash instead of 1.
Two colors will be available: white, and a limited edition Black. They also displayed a prototype pink player at the show.
You will be able to drag and drop MP3 and ATRAC3+ (Sony's format) music directly onto the device. SonicStage will no longer be necessary!
The team bringing it over here is awesome and very, very committed to the product. Let's give them great feedback on the forums!!!
