remember any ideas are alwasy good as it gives Sony an idea of what the demand is for it.

Although looking into the future is a good point i am also looking into finding out exactly what you and your friends think of Rolly so far so that the buzz it has already created can be brought back to Sony and shown that it will be a hit and they are not going to be putting their investments into nothing.

I personally think it will go down a storm - each shop i have shown it to has been straight onto ebay to find one.

thank you again and look forward to hearing more points

Rikki (",)

It may just be me but once my rolly is say 70-80% full it starts to go a little mad - and songs get lost into another folder on my rolly which doesn't seem to be accessible from the device. I'm not sure why.

What I would love to see is an application that could be running on your pc/mac which could communicate with the rolly over wifi - running and managing your music while the rolly does the dancing and lighting effects. This way you could set up playlists on the pc - it would also be great to be able to utilize the computers speakers as an alternative to the rolly's speakers. Perhaps if the option was there in the future the device could become more versatile - dancing and integrating into your current entertainment system rather than being a standalone device.

Sony's motion editor moves are excellent (if you can get it working with Japanese windows) they really have come up trumps with that so good on them. I look forward to more of this type of robotics - it's fantastic.

Just thoughts!

Best,

Michael
